Yelling

This is an extension to an existing Georgian house where the conservation officer was insistant that the new extension should be in a Contemporary style.
The new part otf the house has been constructed with a timber balloon frame structure with steel beams over the largest spans. The external cladding is Siberian Larch which requires no treatment. The weatherboards have "rainscreen" gaps to allow air to circulate.
